Hey, I'm Alyssa.

I believe that a picture is an opportunity to capture a moment that may have otherwise been forgotten. Most of my childhood, in fact, is "remembered" thanks to the tubs of printed photos in my Mamaw's garage, not from my memory alone.

My goal is to capture you, not just photograph you. Someone dear to me once told me that I didn't just take pictures - I captured people; their essence, their emotion. This makes the best photographs, in my opinion.
